Album of the Week

Had a lot of play of the show already in the form of the singles from the album but the new album from Nero has finally arrived. The Album is called 'Welcome Reality' and has been released this week to mixed reviews. The Observer stating "What brings it down is a crashing lack of subtlety and a weakness for the overblown" but Digital Spy says, "Welcome Reality is nonetheless an exhilarating ensemble of euphoric breakdowns and club-thumping choruses." The one thing that reviewers can agree on though is the influence of Vangelis' 'Bladerunner' soundtrack... which can not be a bad thing surely?

Remix Time

Two awesome remixes in the show tonight that are currently doing the rounds, first up lets have a look at the Leo Zero mix of the new Bombay Bicycle single 'Shuffle'

Second up is the new LL Cool J remix of Kasabian's 'Days are Forgotten.' Earlier this month, the band revealed that they recorded a new version of 'Days Are Forgotten' after the rapper got in contact with them about how much he loved the track. 'Days Are Forgotten' is due to be released on September, it is the second track the band have previewed from their upcoming fourth studio album 'Velociraptor!'.
