Is it a bird....

This week a big Truman News Story, Death-Race 2 and a whole array of great music. What more could you ask for.. ok how about some sweeties.

Record of the week

Played last week for the first time this week’s Record of the week is the new one form The Kings of Leon, Radioactive This little beauty will hit the shops on October 10th so not even that long to wait!

Album of the week

Linkin Park return this week with their 4th Studio album, A Thousand Suns. The album was released this week and features new single The Catalyst, and Blackbirds a track taken from the band’s own computer game production 8-Bit Rebellion!

The album is pretty typically a Linkin Park album.. but is that a bad thing?

Movies

Superman Returns.. Again

With rumours flying around about who’s in line to play the Man of Steel, here are my choices for the role.

Matthew Bomer is best known to viewers of Chuck as rogue spy, Bryce Larkin and more recently stars in White Collar. He certainly has the clean cut look but is he tall enough at only 5'11.

Jared Padalecki made his name as Sam Winchester in the Supernatural TV show and recently starred in the remake of  Friday 13th.

My final choice is the man I would pick to be
The Man Of Steel, But as alledgedly already
turned down the role....

Zach Levi is the perfect geek come
hero and has the role down after playing
Chuck for the past 3 years. Hopefully he
will change his mind and when offered he
Will Say Yes!

Be Afraid…

Dogs walking backwards. A baby. A mysterious woman. All shot on a glitchy security camera. It can only mean one thing - a new trailer for vérité scare-fest Paranormal Activity 2 has arrived.

Mash-Ups
Here is a list of all the Mash-Ups from tonights show.

Video of the Week
Muse Video to Tackle Human Trafficking

Muse and MTV EXIT: MK Ultra from MTV EXIT on Vimeo.

The music video for 'MK Ultra' from the band's latest album 'The Resistance' is the third in the award winning "Some Things Cost More Than You Realise" series of collaborations - which has already featured Radiohead and the Killers.
"We feel honoured to be a part of this important movement to end modern day slavery.  It is unacceptable that people are deprived of the most fundamental right to be free", said Muse, "we hope that using our music in the context of such powerful images inspires people to get involved in combating this cruel trade."
The video will be up on 168 MTV websites around the world and it is hoped Muse's involvement will bring the message about the dangers to a global audience.
Bill Roedy, Chairman and Chief Executive of MTV Networks International, says it is modern-day slavery, "human trafficking is a very complex issue that is a problem for the whole of society and one which MTV has been campaigning against since 2004. We're pleased to be collaborating with Muse in this third part of our music video series which will help educate audiences around the world about this terrible crime which affects in excess of 12.3 million people worldwide and the ongoing need for us to continue to fight against it."
The video goes online on the EXIT website today (September 17).

Mash-Up Video Awesomeness!!!!

Two older mixes have been given a video make over. First up is the Wax Audio track Whole Lotta Sabbath, a track that we played a lot on this show when it was first made in 2007.

Second but not least is Arty Fufkin's Crazy Logic. A track I missed the first time around but am loving now. It has a really cool video too.
