We got the whole band back together

This week I am joined by PauPau and Big Brother ahead of tomorrow epic Monopoly Pub Crawl, 22 Pubs in 12 hours. The show tonight has all the usual music and mayhem and if you miss it don’t forget to catch it on Rewind.

Interpol - Barricade

Indie-rockers Interpol are set to release a new album in the upcoming months, but they are not ones to make a lot of noise about it. They quietly released their first single of it a couple of months ago where secrecy was the word and seems like they are using the same process with the release of the second single and title track of their fourth studio album. The single Barricade just seemed to appear on iTunes this week. The self titled album is due out in September.. Tres Excitement!

It’s been three years sionce we heard from them but Arcade Fire are back with possibly their best album to date. Ranging from Haunting Melodies to kick-ass rocking tunes the album has everything an Arcade Fire fan could want.

PauPau Returns

11:11 Rodrigo Y Gabriela

Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quinetro started off playing heavy metal in Mexico City. Then they become an acoustic guitar duo, mixing jazz and Latin influences with bluesy riffs. Their new album 11:11 features… 11 tracks of pure acoustic guitar genius. Each track is written in thanks to the very different musicians who inspired them, from Hendrix to Spanish flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia.

Mumford Magic

Another week and another show. This week great new music from Mumford & Sons with Laura Marling aand Indian musicians the Dharohar Project. The four-track EP features songs recorded during a tour of India last December, which saw the musicians record together in a makeshift studio in Delhi. It has been released this week exclusively on iTunes. It includes collaborative re-workings of Mumford & Sons' song 'To Darkness' and 'Devil's Spoke' by Marling.

New Mash-Up Video from me.. this is more a work in progress, much longer than my previous attempts and I wanted to get some feedback before going back into the studio to edit it.

It is a Video created for the new cool track by Fondue... mashing Eric Prydz and Example!


This week I also re-edited my original X-Tina, Deep Purple Mash-Up and Upped it in HD

‘The Golden Years’, the eagerly awaited debut album by Indie- Electro three piece Ou Est Le Swimming Pool is to be released on August 16th. In the past year their musical career has come on in huge leaps and bounds. They’ve had amazing success with both their singles ‘Dance The Way I Feel’ and more recently ‘These New Knights’.
